Coming to a realisation to the harsh reality: Exams in 3 weeks' time and my boy's coming back next week. How unfortunate can that be.. I'm expecting 2 quizes next week with these 2 modules topping the "Highly Difficult" Chart.. I've promised myself to mug really hard this week so I can bring him to eat nice local food or rather, to fetch him from the airport first. Haven't seen him for the entire 9 months he's been away! Well, I'm kinda proud of myself for being able to last this 9 months without a boyfriend..He's definitely proud of me too. =P

Took a shuttle bus back from school and saw a group of 3 ladies from China finding out if the shuttle bus goes around NTU from another student. I'm still pretty baffled by how the student replied the ladies. She told them she couldn't understand what she was asking when they asked her in Mandarin and she replied them in Mandarin. Oh GAWD! Sometimes, you can't blame anyone for writing critisms of Singaporeans' manners in LIFE! Take a step back and look around you. How many people actually lend a helping hand to someone who needed help? I once saw a lady squatting at the side of the pavement outside Wheelock Place, looking pale and unwell. I went up to her and thank goodness there was a lady and 2 Caucasians asking her if she needed help. Well, she needed a rest under the hot sun, unable to walk any further as she was pregnant and feeling unwell. In the end, she was accompanied to walk to the nearest cafe to get a drink and rest. Thank goodness we still have kind souls around.

The pace of life has gone up so fast such that a handful of people have become selfish, unhelpful and inappreciative. Many a times I've gave my seat to a elderly or a pregnant lady and wondering why many young men remained aloof and ignorant about their surroundings when they actually belonged to the working class. Or, they are plainly selfish. Wake up people!
