Beginning to feel worried about my FYP report as I near the deadline for submission much closer. It suddenly dawned on me that I will be parting with my precious hall buddies in less than 5 months and that would mean bidding goodbye to schooling life. It would be welcome to the sedentary lifestyle of a working adult! I do not wish to see myself working for the sake of paying of bills and working my ass off to feed my lifestyle like what was written in "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. I would think that reading this book a few years ago will not have any impact on me. But now, yes, it has got all to do with me.

It's time to save up for 1) Graduation Trip, 2) Paying my parents back for all the school fees they've been paying for 1/4 of my life, 3) Save up so that dear and I can maybe get a car together and 4) probably marriage in 4 years' time.

I know some of you guys may think that it's too early to plan for something that is going to happen years later, but do spend some time thinking through it. Our spending power grows with the amount of money we earn, that is why we have financial planners to help us plan our wealth, invest and make money so that we can live in comfort when we have kids, houses, bills, cars and whatsoever. What happens if we have the plan and we do not have the finances to fulfill it? I want to retire early, which brings to the point about having kids early so that our age gap does not differ too much.

Sounds serious right? No I'm not. Think about it. I'm reaching my mid-twenties can you believe it?! =X

Went cycling with dear and mou yesterday at East Coast after they came over to help me finish painting my door frames. =) oH I mean, I cycled and the two of them roller-bladed! Dear and I decided to start a healthy lifestyle by going East Coast for some healthy activities every week end when he doesn't have work and when he has his dad's car to drive. And following that would be some delicious ice-cream from The Ice Cream Gallery. Saw plenty of youngters blading at ECP which makes me feel like learning too. But sad to say, I tried on the blades for 10 minutes and I felt uncomfortable and tired which probably is due to that I'm not used to the feeling of the blades. Maybe I should try it again after I'm more keen to learn. =) I think it's a great way to burn off fats coz you'll have to use ur whole body to push yourself forward!

So I guess, this might be the new year resolution for me and dear: Plenty of healthy activities which means losing more weight and becoming slimmer! HAHA!

I think this is probably one of the few sweet photos we've taken!

Went to National Museum to check out the Greek Exhibition. Finally having a cultured side of me posted here. Suggestion thanks to Shanley who ended up didn't join us coz she had to help her sis with her wedding preparation (Digress: ok yet another person getting married)

I was getting bored of reading the write-ups on the few sculptures we saw, so I went to Ken to try to check if he's as bored as me, coz I couldn't find the rest of them, prolly somewhere else in the exhibition. So as we were venturing to this corner of the museum, we saw this section that allows patrons to try on Greek outfits! There were also instructions on how to wear those outfits. Enthusiastic Ken and I started pulling pieces of cloth from the racks and began to try them out. I had much difficulties putting them on as it was really a BIG piece of cloth, equivalent to my house's curtains! Check out these cheesy pics:

Meng volunteered to stranggle me.

Since he stranggled me, I had to stranggle him back.

Funny Ken, Me and Wei.

Dreamy Greek Goddess

The following pics are taken when we left the exhibition cos they close at 6pm. We then came across this weird magnetic board with wires and metallic tubes dangling from it. So we decided to continue on our cranky photo-taking session. Fooling around. Yes!

Pass the current please. hahaha

Nice Candid Shot taken by Meng!

Trapped by metallic coils! We're in PAIN!

Had no idea why I pouted.

Finally one decent group pic together with Big Christmas Tree.

heh. LOOONG out-dated entry that is.

Mummy decided to bring all of us out for a buffet lunch at Park Royal Hotel for a pre-Christmas Celebration! Yummilicious! She asked May's family along, together with my Da Gu Ma and Da Gu Zang, my dear and my sister's dear! So that's like a 14-people crowd altogether, the hotel personnel had to give us a room coz we didn't want to split up into 2 tables! hehe. This is the really nice room we had over there. Much privacy indeed! But I happen to see the other room that looks more posh with black chairs and exudes elegance and class much better than these biege coloured ones! Oh well, but it's good enough as we didn't have to be put through the awkward feeling of getting stared at while commenting on the food! haha~~

heh.

Family photo! Cheeros! Oh yes my younger sis was the camera woman so she ain't in the pic.

Here's a toast to the younger generation! From left: Shu Jun (elder sis), Denis (sis' boyfriend), Dear, Me, and Shi Pei (younger sis) in pink!

At the hotel lobby with Dear. Le Masquerade!

At a spiral staircase at the hotel lobby! C'est Bonne!

In the private room. Mummy and the 3 flowers. Muahahah~~

Welcome to Le Masquerade Pagaent of the year. Pagaent Queen: Third from left, Mummy!

Overall, I ate so much food till I skipped dinner! One could never manage to finish all the different varieties of food they have coz there's really SOOoo much food! I love the chicken rice ball, seafood soup, fondue, sashimi, cold lobster and definitely cannot miss out on the dessert! By the time we had a fair share of our main course, I could only try 5 desserts served in small shot glasses coz I was super duper full by then. By the desserts all look so delicious that I'm even considering going back again just to try each and single one of them. Haa SINFUL. More running or cycling that is.
