It was a busy new year for me coz I've been working hard on house visiting to collect red packets over Chinese New Year! *grins* Other than moving from one house to another to wish everyone 'happy new year', I had been slacking and enjoying myself over Valentine's Day and dear's birthday though we didn't have that special a celebration. Basically, he had to work overtime on Vday and we ended up calling for Macs delivery for dinner! Though it was rather plain to celebrate at his house, I'm rather happy to be able to spend it with him nevertheless!

It was supposedly an entry dated 18 Feb for the following but I was busy rushing my FYP lit review to submit to my mentor for checking and hence, missed it. Nonetheless, I would like to share with all of you how I managed to stage a perfect plan to let dear go through an emotional roller-coaster before singing him a birthday song on the night of 17 Feb. =)

Here it goes: I had discussed with Jason (his bro-in-law) to buy a birthday cake for him to celebrate for him at one of his auntie's place over chinese new year lunch buffet. It was meant to be a surprise. In the end, we had to change the celebration venue to his house at night. Hence, Jason and I came up with a perfect plan when Jason's phone went flat, and Jasmine's phone can't be called through. On the way to the car from his auntie's place, his mum suggested to Xav and I to take Jason's car home after fetching Jasmine from the MRT station. And the whole plan was to not let him find out that Jason's on his way to collect the cake from Katong Mall and so.. I quickly offered to sit his car back and Xav, to take his dad's car back!

The whole journey in Jason's car was thinking about a fool-proof plan to scare Xav, make him angry and blame him for letting me sit in Jason's car alone. We, in turn, sacrificed Jasmine as she had to go home by public transport after her appointment and faced plenty of questions by her parents to why she came home alone without informing me and Jason! To make things worse, I 'blamed' Xav for letting me sit in Jason's car back, wasting my time when I could have studied my quiz, and blaming him for being not concern and for playing his computer games. Jason and I had to 'tour' around Compass Point to drag time to allow Jasmine to reach home before us. And there... BOO! haHa, we went into the house after Jasmine used the same trick again: To scream 'blackout' to get everyone into the living room! He was touched by our efforts ok.. =P LUCKILY HehE.

V day was spent at Chomp Chomp eating seafood. Nonetheless, I'm glad coz I get to eat good food and tasting delicious ice-cream!! Wheeeeee~~
